stone river is equipped with some of the nicest stalls in the country. twelve foot by twelve foot stalls with automatic waterers and wall-mounted hay bins, they stalls are presented elegantly with a european style, though the e-shapped barn has it's middle wing designed with a full-front for horses that may bite or kick at other passing horses. all stalls do have a wall-tie so horses can be tied in their stalls, but there is also cross ties every other stall for horses to be tied in the alley-way.

at the middle of the barn there are six heated wash stalls that are padded in case of accidents. it is asked that no horses are left unattended in the wash stalls as there is only six of them so they like to have them open for everyone to use.

there are three tack rooms, each one has twenty lockers along one wall for personal items, each other wall is mounted for saddles and bridles, there are also saddle racks in the middle.

the riders lounge over looks the paddocks, and with a full kitchen it is frequently occupied with staff on mare watch, and riders that decide to sleep at the barn over night.

this four room apartment houses the owner of the farm, and is used to house working students, sometimes putting two in a room, but she only lets them have access to two of the other three rooms, the third is used for the twenty-four hour stable hand. it is asked that boarders and students do not come into the apartment unless invited by one of the residents.

the stable.
the stone river stable is a stone-built barn built to a more modern appeal though with that rustic, charming feel about it. with room for over a hundred and fifty horses, an apartment and lounge, it's one of the largest barns in the state and among the nicest as well.
